Feedback on Rotorua Products

“I'm just writing to thank you for organizing my family in December 2009. I had a wonderful time – the food was amazing, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the show was amazing! It was definitely one of the highlights of my time in New Zealand, and I look forward to selling it in the future.” Peterpans Adventure Travel – Brisbane
“I wanted to let you know that my experience attending the show in Rotorua was fabulous. From the minute I was collected to the minute we were dropped back off at the hotel was fun, entertaining and a great insight into the Maori culture. Please extend my thanks to our driver guide for the night. She was a fabulous host and made me feel really welcome along with every other person on our bus. I will have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you to all of my clients on this side of the world.” Tourmasters South Pacific
“I just wanted to send you a quick e-mail to thank you and the team at Tamaki Maori Village for an amazing night on Saturday. It was really great to see everything that you have to offer our clients and even better to be able to experience it first-hand!
We have some great photos from the night and a deeper understanding of Maori culture than we did before visiting you. I have no doubts that I'll be able to sell Rotorua as a destination and Tamaki Maori Village as a must do experience in the future.” Flight Centre – Australia
“Thanks for looking after us in Rotorua, it was a great night, I was even chief! We have made it back to the UK after a brilliant time in NZ and now have to deal with reality and very average weather, the tan is peeling / fading already! Good to meet you and thank again for the evening.” Tourism Holdings Limited
“Now everyone has gone home and things are settling down again, I just wanted to say that I received a lot of great feedback from delegates on our evening at the village. As the last event on our time together, it left them on a high note, so thanks to everyone for a great evening.” President, UCB International ltd
“Thank you so much for a great experience. We really enjoyed ourselves. The village setting is amazing, and everything was so professional. The bus driver was amazing, and made the drive seem short with his entertainment. I will certainly pass on my recommendations to the team at First Light Travel and future clients. All the best”. First Light Travel
“Tamaki Maori Village is a very professional and enjoyable entertainment and dining experience. The hosts are very enthusiastic and they have a great sense of humour. The setting is awesome. When you first enter you feel like you have stumbled across an ancient Maori land, just picture Captain Cook’s first experience in these lands. Tamaki has cultural interaction where guests can experience various activities that were once part of everyday Maori life. The show is very entertaining and dramatic. The Haka is fierce and the Poi display is very beautiful. Then we come to the food; Tamaki really does deliver here. The traditional Hangi spread really caps off the night perfectly. The only thing I can really say is you have to be careful you don’t gorge yourself sick…. and save some room for dessert! Mark: A+”. The Heritage Group
“Hey - I just want to say big thanks for last night, it was fantastic!!!! You have managed to balance the story line with the main cultural experience. Our staff thoroughly enjoyed their evening; they were completely blown away by the whole experience. And your staff were fantastic with hosting, it felt very personal – your guides were great, please pass on our thanks to them. Thanks once again.” YHA
“Hey guys I just wanted to send you a quick email to pass on my gratitude for such an awesome experience I had with you. While on a visit to Rotorua it was highly recommended to me to take your tour and I'm very glad that I did. I went along on Thursday the 16th of July. I thought it was just absolutely amazing. I think it’s a fantastic thing to keep the New Zealand and Maori history alive and to let the people from all sides of the world experience it.
The last past two years I have been travelling through the UK and Europe and while there I went on many tours, therefore having many tour guides. To be honest I would have to say my tour guide for that night was just brilliant, the best tour guide I have ever had. I am an Australian now living in New Zealand and like my Australian history I am just as fascinated with New Zealand’s as well. And nothing can beat what is in your own backyard.
I would like it if you could say a massive thank you to all those who were involved on Thursday the 16th, and especially to our bus driver and tour guide. I truly had a brilliant time right from the start to the very end of being dropped off at our front door of our hotel. I will be sure to send everyone I know to Rotorua and on the Tamaki Tour. Keep up the fantastic work.” Bree Riches
“Tamaki Brothers Hangi and Concert Descriptions: This was the best concert I have seen yet - they brought a real educational part to the usually just singing. The chief explained the use of various Maori weapons with such power and description it was awesome. Our waka driver was lovely and informative and all staff was great with our students. The food was great and the students really enjoyed it. In general a really positive response and when we got back to our accommodation - in the driveway in the rain - the boys of our group pulled out the HAKA for me and they really did it justice having just been taught it.” Educational Tours
“We had a most enjoyable evening on Monday night. The atmosphere at the village was amazing and I was really impressed with all the staff they were very enthusiastic. We all thoroughly enjoyed the show, meal and whole experience and found it to be a really positive experience and such a great experience for tourists to our country. I felt really proud to be a New Zealander and part of a country that embraces it culture. This is certainly a must-do for visitors to our country and I’m thrilled to have had the opportunity to experience this first hand.” New Plymouth i-Site
