After some 22 years in business Tamaki Heritage Experiences remains a family owned and operated company, despite managing three existing Maori tourism experiences / businesses, an indigenous consultancy division and a new tourism product which is under development.
Tamaki Heritage Experiences is owned by the Tamaki brothers and their families – Mike and Karene and Doug and Kate Tamaki. The company boasts four outstanding Maori tourism products, including the Tamaki Maori Village – Journey of Ages , and the Realm of Tane in Rotorua and the Tamaki Heritage Village- Lost In Our Own Land , in Christchurch.
